Chapters 8 to 10 (They Say I Say)

In these three chapters: it is provided some good information about connecting people's thoughts in the essays. For these readings, it is purposed to understand implementing the metacommentary using in essays. There are some useful words to understand transitional words in order to create a different view on author's idea.
In Chapter 9, it is mentioned that using sophisticated words is not necessary on writings. Authors should use some words, which provide easy connection between the writer and audience. It is important that writer should control his/her audience, if he/she writes for specific group.
In Chapter 10, it is talked about understanding the point, which you are trying to get metacommentary. When we read the techniques of this model, we can say that these solutions can be a helpful way for the people who are not enough to compete their page limits. I think it would be helpful for me because sometimes I really get hardships to complete my page limits.

Goal.com, 11 May 2011. Web. 21 Oct 2013.

Summary: In this article, the author talks about what is the Financial Fair Play and How will UEFA enforce it. It would be extraordinary to have this fanfare and then not see it through. I think it will work because Platini’s credibility is on the line. I went along to the select committee’s investigation into football governance and there is genuine belief that this will change the way things are done. To have this momentum and then not enforce it would be the end of Platini and the end of Uefa versus the clubs.

I think this article would help me about the views of head-managers of UEFA in order to understand well what the Financial Fair Play system is and how will the big clubs effected.

Summary: In this article; the editor mentioned that Most people use the term 'Financial Fair Play' (FFP) to refer to UEFA's requirement for clubs to balance their books. However the UEFA FFP rules are actually 90 pages long and cover much more than the need to 'Break Even  For example, they specify that clubs keep up-to-date with their taxes, their transfer fees and pay player wages on time. Although clubs have been punished under the FFP banner for having 'overdue payables' (Malaga have been banned from UEFA competition next year for falling behind on their tax and wages), the main concern for Premier League clubs is the Break Even requirement.

I think this article would be more helpful to clear the definiton and rules of Financial Fair Play System. In my Op-Ed essay, I would get some beneficial information from this article.

Mission Accomplished?

In this Op-Ed article, the author, Marissa Wolfe, talks about the Military Women, who are not getting enough care after ending service. She also mentions the high budget of the Department of Vertain Affairs, approximately 140 billion $, and how they used this huge amount instead helping women, who damaged their own duty. She claims that America has a fear about their enemies, but if they don't enough care his own servers, who are working for their country, it will be inevitable that they get one powerful enemy too. It is also said that these women are not feeling safety. For example; they got some attacks from their friends and they started to carry on some knifes just because of feeling more safety in these areas. Some of these women, who got attacked by others, feel ashamed and most of them are avoiding to say what happened.

After reading this Op-Ed, I think that the Department of Vertain Affairs didn't care so much the women, who got attacks by others because I believe that the results of investigations, about the commiting of suicides under their consultant, are not reflecting the exact informations about the women. It is also known that there are some women who don't report their problems, still living their ashames and depressive feelings just because of before experiences. However, Vertain Affairs still doesn't care their feelings and they are still selecting other women...

My Financial Fair Play Topic Proposal

In recent discussions of Financial Fair Play Model on European Soccer Clubs, a controversial issue has been whether this system would be beneficial for club's finances or not. On the one hand, some argue that this would be beneficial for clubs. From this perspective, they claim that the financial gap between big clubs and small clubs will be more smaller and soccer may get more fair sport for everyone. On the other hand, however, others argue that this system would not beneficial for clubs. In the words of Financial Fair Play is making the rich richer, one of this view's main proponents, "fair". According to this view, they claimed that this system is making the rich richer and keeping the poor in business with less power. In sum, then, the issue is whether this Financial Fair Play System would be beneficial for European soccer clubs or not.

My own view is that it would be beneficial for clubs. Though I concede that, it wouldn't be fair model for all clubs, I still maintain that most of European soccer clubs would be benefited by this system. For example; it would prevent big transfers with big amounts and by this way player can choose his decides more willingly. Although some might object that this system would be crack down in the future, I would reply that this system would be run successfully. The issue is important because soccer is gaining by some of clubs, whose financial power is more than others and it has to be prevent by someone and UEFA is willing to take responsibility to solve this problem. If this problem solves, soccer will be more beautiful game like in the past.

Summary: In this article, it is talking about the new system in the European Soccer: The Financial Fair Play Model. It is said that most of soccer clubs have to be a part of this model because if they don't think being a part of this systemi,, they would not be any big tournaments or organizations.

The clubs in all three divisions voted in favour of developing the 'rigorous new measures' following a presentation by Andrea Traverso, UEFA's head of club licensing and financial fair play. The Football League's move reflects concern over income - the their new £195million domestic TV deal is a 26 per cent drop on the previous one. Debt in Football League clubs now totals £700million and a report this week by analysts Deloitte found that more than one third of clubs are paying out more in wages than they received in revenue.

Summary: In this article, it is seen that there is a interview helded by Jean-Luc Dehaene, the man UEFA President Michel Platini. This interview is helded on a Financial Fair Play issue. Dehaene says UEFA wants clubs to balance their books over a three-year period starting from the 2013-14 season but the first season that actually counts is this one, so the initial period under the FFP guidelines is actually two years, not three. If balanced books sound like a leap for European football's more spendthrift sides (most of them, then) it's because it is, which is why there is plenty of sugar with the FFP medicine.

For the last five years, all clubs wanting to play in the Champions or Europa League competitions have needed a Uefa licence. To obtain one of these, the clubs submit audited accounts and prove they have no outstanding payments to players, each other or the tax authorities. "The new rules are only possible because of the experience we have from the licensing system," Dehaene said. "The difference is a licence gives you a photo of a club's finances, FFP will give you a film."
